{prettiest garbage EV-ER}

So I've been working on several big projects (that will be announced soon) lately. And as I was wrapping things up on one of them for the day my 9-year old came bouncing into the studio from school. She walked right over to the garbage & said, "Can I have this mom? It looks like a Christmas tree". I looked over to see this....

Now isn't that just the prettiest garbage you ever did see? I wish all my garbage looked like this. We took a quick pic of it & she was off with it! Who knows what creative play she's planning to use it for, but I was happy to provide her hours of fun with my garbage. :) Just thought I'd share!

Wow...has it really been since April? I'm horrible! Well, didn't know if you knew but I started a facebook page. I'm totally lovin' facebook. I have to admit I do much more there than I do here. So, if you'd like to become a fan - click the button to your right and join me on facebook! Yea!

So what have I been up to the last 4 months? Well, there are several new designs in studio jk vinyl & as always there are more to come. Of course summer with the kids home takes a toll on things. But my girls are both back in school (gotta love the year-round) & I have a few hours to myself a few times a week now. Kinda wierd - it's too quiet. But I'm sure I'll adjust.

I've also been organizing the studio. It's coming together quite nicely. I have to stay organized or things get too crazy! studio jk vinyl has been growing quickly & they say that one of the best times to become dis-organized (with a business) is when your company is growing. So I've been trying to stay on-top of that. I've re-arranged my studio 3 times now - but I think I finally got it this last time! (I'm sure my husband just loves the organizer in me - poor guy)

Speaking of my hubby - he has been quite busy getting our new website look up & running. I never realized how time consuming it was to start all over or I might have re-considered this project. But it's turned out fab-u-lous! The new site has so many more functions - it's going to be so great! Go have a sneak peek - not all the products are listed yet, but seriously - it is nice!

I aslo designed the a logo for "See Jane Shoot" - that was fun. I think I might do more of this kind of thing. I really enjoyed it. Poor Jane though, she had to wait FOR-ever to get it. Hopefully it was worth the wait! (ha, ha... I make myself laugh. If I can find more time I'll do more of this)

Also been getting ready to bulk up on inventory for oh sweet sadie next month - hope to see you there!

And I have a secret collaboration project in the works!

I got a little "nudge" today wondering where I've been. So here's a quick update...

I have been a busy little designing bee! Here are 8 new designs recently added to the exclusive studio jk vinyl collection.

I also have about 6 more that are about to be launched and about 30 more in my head....I wish I had time for! Slow & steady though...slow and steady.

I also designed some new business cards - that was fun! I wish you could see/feel them (I'm having problems with uploading the image). They're glossy & slick & the corners are rounded & well, they're just nice. I'm liking how the branding of studio jk vinyl is turning out.

And I've also been very busy getting a new website up. Yup - studio jk vinyl will not just be sold on etsy & artfire anymore. I will have my very own place in cyberspace....one that's just mine. It's very gratifying to do things on your own. Don't 'cha think? I mean, I LOVE etsy & I LOVE artfire, but there's just something deep within me that feels a sense of pride when I do something all by myself. Well okay, not TOTALLY by myself...I mean, my hubby has been helping a lot....okay, okay he's doing it all. Gosh. But still...he's on my team, that counts right? :) Anyway, in a way I think it relates to being self-reliant. And it just makes me happy! The website is not completely ready for you to check out yet....but it's getting there. I'll leave you a note when you can visit it - & there'll probably be IDK, some grand opening sale or something. So stay posted.

I hope you all have a wonderful v.day, whether you're going all out or having a nice & simple time with those you love. Mine will be the latter this year. You'd think with it being on a Saturday & all that that would be ideal...but it's really not when you have kids. It makes me feel bad leaving them all day, because after all - it's valentines for them too & what does that say to them? IDK, usually I'm all for getting a babysitter & having alone time with my hubby, but for some reason this year I want us to spend it as a family. Plus I got these awesome necklaces from firefly photo jewlery for my girls! I want to see them in them {& the new outfits they got} all day! I have to show you how dang cute these necklaces are... {i don't know what I'll do when my girls can blog...I won't get to tell my secrets)

{new year, new look!}

Surprise! Happy new year! How do you like the new look? I know, I know....it's stylin' huh? It was on my list for quite sometime to get the blog looking up to par. So it kinda worked out that it got done for Christmas. What a nice Christmas gift. But I wanted to keep it a secret until I could do a proper 'un-veiling' of the new look {so, sorry if you checked & the blog was private for awhile}. So here it is... da, da, da daaaaa!

Anyway, I'm so excited about it - it turned out just perfect, didn't it? I'd like to claim it as my own blog design {...it does look just like something I'd do}, but ya know what? - it's SO much easier to have someone who specializes in doing this, do it for ya! That way you can do what you do best, instead of figuring all the coding & uploading out {what a pain}! So do you want to meet her? Oh, you know you are dying to check out her portfolio.....her name is Hannah of Craner Design Studio. She was ab-fab! It was such a seamless process working with her & her prices are great! Stop by her shop & get your wheels turnin' to get your new look for the new year! It's funny how exciting it is to have a blog make-over - you really should try it!

So it's back to business as usual around here. We got a good holiday break with my family up in Oregon. It was nice. I hope you got to spend some good time with your families too & that you're rested & rejuvenated ready to go back to your everyday life!

{vinylicious friday - birds on a wire}

If you've visited my shop lately you'll notice I've been bulking up on my bird designs. Yea birds! I just love 'em, don't you? They seem so happy & content - ya know? And, they are just poppin' up everywhere...on clothes, in pic's, advertising, in scrapbooking stuff - pretty much anywhere with a design aspect. Anyway, I'm so glad to have had time to finally get some done - they've been on my list for quite sometime now. So today's design is studio jk vinyl's "birds on a wire" {in black}. They are realistic silhouettes of sparrows hangin' out on a telephone wire. Omgsh, speaking of birds, did any of you see that guy on Jay Leno last night who did bird impressions? {...he was pretty funny, huh?} See, what'd I tell ya...birds are even so popular Jay Leno's gotta plug 'em.

Went & voted this morning...how 'bout you? I was thinking what an amazing process voting is as a stood there for an HOUR & A HALF! I had just a 'little' time to reflect on things...well inbetween the races down the hallway with the little boy behind us anyway {not me, my 3 year old - that'd be funny if it was me though, lol :) }. Anyway I was thinking how many other voter locations there were all over the SL valley, then Utah, and over the entire U.S. for that matter - that people were coming to today. And that all that data would be processed & we will get results TODAY! That's amazing to me.

Anyway, just one of my random thoughts.

SO - you're here to find out the winner of those cute birds huh? Okay...I have to be honest with you...I kinda had a hard time getting a winner this time. Okay, here it is - the most fan-tab-u-lastic new item studio jk vinyl offers...{are you ready? because you're just going to LOVE this, seriously} introducing - CHALKBOARD VINYL!!!

I know, I know - you just have to have some, don'tcha? And really, there is SO much you can do with it.. you can, of course, put it right on your walls, cut it into squares/circles for labels on containers, cover a clipboard for a portable activity for your kids {or use for quiet time in church}...the possibilities are endless. And it comes clean with baby wipes, cuz you've always got those on hand - or at least I do...I love 'em! Target just clearanced these big multi-packs, so I bought 3 but I think I'm going back for more cuz it's been eating me up that I didn't get more! Really, I have baby wipes on all 3 levels of our home, in my car & in my purse at all times. They're just one of those things that Jamie cannot live without! {Anyway - just a tidbit more about the girl behind studio jk vinyl. Hey, @ least you know I like things clean...but that could be an entire new post, so I won't go there! :) }

{dont'cha just love this girl? I totally dislike running, but she makes me feel like runnin' esp. at the beach!}

Okay - so I've been down & out after 2 weekends of boutiques, super saturday's & catalog parties, but I am back! So what happened? Let me tell ya... I thought I was super-mom-prenuer, but I SO wasn't! I learned pretty quickly that I definately have limits & unfortunatley, this blog got the short end of the stick. Sorry. I guess that's part of the learning curve in running your own business: sometimes you just can't do it all! So as a result of my 'careless & reckless' {yes, we watch a lot of little mermaid around here} behavior, I've learned I need to make things a little more realistic. I will still be hosting give-aways on vinylicious friday's - don't you worry your pretty little head, I'm not letting that go! The give-away, just might not always be a new design, that's all. Wow! The response from the give-a-way on tip junkie was such a rush! It' felt like my birthday all day long. Ya know, I love being a 'mom-prenuer', but sometimes (just sometimes) working so hard by yourself on building a small biz from the ground up has it's days. I mean, you don't have a 'boss' to turn things in to, you don't get annual reviews, you don't have co-workers to collaborate on projects with...it's just you! So to have a day like this where you get 179 comments/compliments is SO flattering (& needed)! It makes it all worth it! I just need to save all of them & read them when I'm having one of those days. Or maybe I just need to do more give-a-ways!

{What you don't know WILL hurt you}

It's something just about every woman carries with them. While we may know what's inside our handbags, do you have any idea what's on the outside? Women carry handbags everywhere; from the office to public toilets to the floor of the car. Most women won't be caught without their handbags, but did you ever stop to think about where your handbag goes during the day.

'I drive a school bus, so my handbag has been on the floor of the bus a lot,' says one woman. 'I put my handbag in grocery shopping carts and on the floor of the bathroom stalls,' says another woman 'and of course in my home which should be clean.' We decided to find out if handbags harbor a lot of bacteria.

We learned how to test them at Nelson Laboratories in Salt Lake, and then we set out to test the average woman's handbag. Most women told us they didn't stop to think about what was on the bottom of their handbag. Most said at home they usually set their handbags on top of kitchen tables and counters where food is prepared. Most of the ladies we talked to told us they wouldn't be surprised if their handbags were at least a little bit dirty.

It turns out handbags are so surprisingly dirty, even the microbiologist who tested them was shocked. Microbiologist Amy Karen of Nelson Labs says nearly all of the handbags tested were not only high in bacteria, but high in harmful kinds of bacteria. Pseudomonas can cause eye infections, staphylococcus aurous can cause serious skin infections, and salmonella and e-coli found on the handbags could make people very sick. It's not always the 'restaurant food' that causes stomach distress.

In one sampling, four of five handbags tested positive for salmonella, and that's not the worst of it. 'There is fecal contamination on the handbags' says Amy. Leather or vinyl handbags tended to be cleaner than cloth handbags, and lifestyle seemed to play a role. People with kids tended to have dirtier handbags than those without, with one exception. The handbag of one single woman who frequented nightclubs had one of the worst contaminations of all. 'Some type of feces, or possibly vomit' says Amy.

So the moral of this story is that your handbag won't kill you, but it does have the potential to make you very sick if you keep it on places where you eat. Use hooks to hang your handbag at home and in bathroom stalls, and don't put it on your desk, a restaurant table, or on your kitchen countertop. Experts say you should think of your handbag the same way you would a pair of shoes. 'If you think about putting a pair of shoes onto your countertops, that's the same thing you're doing when you put your handbag on the countertops' - Your handbag has gone where individuals before you have sneezed, coughed, spat, urinated, emptied bowels, etc! Do you really want to bring that home with you? The microbiologists at Nelson also said cleaning a handbag will help. Wash cloth handbags and use leather cleaner to clean the bottom of leather handbags.

There's just something about the simplicity of a piano that is so beautiful. {Organize Your Life - Labeling}

I've decided to start giving some organizing tips every now & then. I'm not necessarily going to go in order of the entire organizing process, but I'll bounce around to all elements of getting your life organized!

Today's topic will be labeling. So a few months ago my SIL Aimee, moved into a new house with this awesome corner pantry! Which I'm a little bitter about...I have THE tinyist pantry ever *sigh* someday though! After I got over it, she decided she wanted some help organizing it. She said her husband & kids went grocery shopping one weekend for her. They came home to put it all away...but didn't know where to put it all. So as to not "mess-up" her system, they put away the fridge/freezer things & left the rest for her to do later. Sound familiar? So we got to work & this is how it turned out!

With a little faith, trust & pixie dust, or vinyl labels ;) it was complete! So as an organizing consultant I can't leave without saying: LABEL, LABEL, LABEL!! It is the essential step in the organizing process! Labeling helps ensure your organizing attempts last longer! Who wouldn't want that after all the work you did to get it that way? Not to mention, it ties the whole project together with a unified look. Now her kids (& hubby) know where to put things away after grocery shopping! That's what I love about organizing is that it helps them, help you!

So the labels in Aim's pantry were custom labels, which I can do for you too. However, I do have some pret-ty nifty lables in my shop right now. There are 3 different sets that are also customizable....

The first set is my kitchen labels that come in a set of 6 different labels. You choose what you'd like each one to be!

The second set is my simple storage labels that also come in a set of 6 you choose. These are big labels you can use with big containers, so you can easily see them when trying to locate something!

And finally, the most popular kids labels set of 6 you choose! These were designed specifically for kids 5 & under! Since most of them don't read yet, the pictures give them familiarity so they know where to get things or where to put things away.

So there you have it! Lables to help your organizing attempts last longer!

Today's design is this stylin' topiary! I've been craving a new topiary for my house lately & decided this is the solution! I think it will be awesome up above my staggered cupboards in my kitchen...kinda like a shadow of a topiary in the background of all the shizzle up there! That'll work right? (Joel will be so proud of me actually 'hooking' our own home up with some vinyl)!

So this morning I'm doing my regular routine of checking my email, deciding what I need to work on today, etc. And I run across this link announcing a 'certain' company that I used to be a demonstrator for (those of you who know me will know EXACTLY who I'm talking about) will soon be carrying an extensive line of wall decals!! RRRHH! That really irks me! Like a multi-MILLION dollar industry isn't enough for them?! I mean how greedy & money hungry can you be!? That they have to step on a completely different industry's little guys & take all of their potential sales!! It's like tupperware all the sudden adding hair bows to thier product line! Ya know, it's not like I'm out to make millions here. But now they're going to make it even harder for me (or any other at-home vinyl girl) to make the small financial goals we have in supporting our families. Which is so ironic! They are crushing women staying at home trying to make a little extra money, which is exactly what they promote: women working at home to make a little extra money! And the money they are taking from us is probably just "chump change" to them that they spend on janitors for thier big building! I guess this just hits a little to close-to-home for me. I now know how the "ma & pa" shops felt about Wal-mart! This totally sucks!!

I got this info as a FW: email the other day & instead of FW:ing it to all of you to just have you delete it- jerks :), I thought I'd post it here! It's kinda lengthy, but it really is good info- we're always lookin' for good tips to make our lives easier, right?! If you have any other little tips you'd like to add...by all means, leave a comment & enlighten us!

Bananas
Peel a banana from the bottom and you won't have to pick the little 'stringy things' off of it. That's how the primates do it.

Take your bananas apart when you get home from the store. If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen faster.

Cheese
Store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. It will stay fresh much longer and not mold!

Peppers
Peppers with 3 bumps on the bottom are sweeter and better for eating. Peppers with 4 bumps on the bottom are firmer and better for cooking.

Greasy ground beef
Add a teaspoon of water when frying ground beef. It will help pull the grease away from the meat while cooking.

Eggs
To really make scrambled eggs or omelets rich add a couple of spoonfuls of sour cream, cream cheese, or heavy cream in and then beat them up.

MMMM...
For a cool brownie treat, make brownies as directed. Melt Andes mints in double broiler and pour over warm brownies. Let set for a wonderful minty frosting.

Garlic
Add garlic immediately to a recipe if you want a light taste of garlic and at the end of the recipe if your want a stronger taste of garlic.

Quick trick-or-treat
Leftover snickers bars from Halloween make a delicious dessert. Simply chop them up with the food chopper. Peel, core and slice a few apples. Place them in a baking dish and sprinkle the chopped candy bars over the apples. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes!!! Serve alone or with vanilla ice cream.

Reheat Pizza
Heat up leftover pizza in a non stick skillet on top of the stove, set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works.

Easy Deviled Eggs
Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal, mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly, cut the tip of the baggy, squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up.

Expanding Frosting
When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store, whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar and calories per serving.

Reheating refrigerated bread
To warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster.

Newspaper weeds away
Start putting in your plants, work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers put layers around the plants overlapping as you go cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers.

Broken Glass
Use a wet cotton ball or Q-tip to pick up the small shards of glass you can't see easily.

No More Mosquitoes
Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away.

Was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as well. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children's swing area, and the standing water nearby. **

Squirrel Away!
To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it.

Flexible vacuum
To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings.

Reducing Static Cling
Pin a small safety pin to the seam of your slip and you will not have a clingy skirt or dress. Same thing works with slacks that cling when wearing panty hose. Place pin in seam of slacks and -- ta da! -- static is gone.

Measuring Cups
Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill with hot water. Dump out the hot water, but don't dry cup. Next, add your ingredient, such as peanut butter, and watch how easily it comes right out.

Foggy Windshield?
Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep it in the glove box of your car. When the windows fog, rub with the eraser! Works better than a cloth!

Reopening envelope
If you seal an envelope and then realize you forgot to include something inside, just place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two. Viola! It unseals easily.

Conditioner
Use your hair conditioner to shave your legs. It's cheaper than shaving cream and leaves your legs really smooth. It's also a great way to use up the conditioner you bought but didn't like when you tried it in your hair...

Goodbye Fruit Flies
To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass fill it 1/2' with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dish washing liquid, mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever!

Get Rid of Ants
Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it 'home,' can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains, but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!

Bee Stings
If you don't have a bee sting kit handy after being stung, use that lucky penny! Directly press the penny on the bee sting & in minutes the pain will reside! So don't forget to include a penny in that first aid kit or in your pocket at the park!

INFO ABOUT CLOTHES DRYERS
The heating unit went out on my dryer! The gentleman that fixes things around the house for us told us that he wanted to show us something and he went over to the dryer and pulled out the lint filter. It was clean. (I always clean the lint from the filter after every load clothes.) He told us that he wanted to show us something; he took the filter over to the sink, ran hot water over it. The lint filter is made of a mesh material I'm sure you know what your dryer's lint filter looks like. well,...the hot water just sat on top of the mesh! It didn't go through it at all! He told us that dryer sheets cause a film over that mesh that's what burns out the heating unit. You can't SEE the film, but it's there. It's what is in the dryer sheets to make your clothes soft and static free that nice fragrance too, you know how they can feel waxy when you take them out of the box, well this stuff builds up on your clothes and on your lint screen. This is also what causes dryer units to catch fire & potentially burn your house down with it! He said the best way to keep your dryer working for a very long time (& to keep your electric bill lower) is to take that filter out & wash it with hot soapy water & an old toothbrush (or other brush) at least every six months. He said that takes the life of the dryer at least twice as long! How about that!?! Learn something new everyday! I certainly didn't know dryer sheets would do that. So, I thought I'd share! Note: I went to my dryer & tested my screen by running water on it. The water ran through a little bit but mostly collected all the water in the mesh screen. I washed it with warm soapy water & a nylon brush & I had it done in 30 seconds. Then when I rinsed it the water ran right Thru the screen! There wasn't any puddling at all! That repairman knew what he was talking about!

Everyone go wash & rinse your dryer filter now - we can't be havin' anyones house on fire!!

I just found out I'm going to be on KSL's studio 5 this Friday @ 11am!! They want me to bring my labels as part of their "favorite things" segment. The director/producer saw my labels at her friends house, who got them at the OSS! boutique! She tracked down my info, ordered some labels from my website & left me a message to call her, & now I'm going on the show!

It's very flattering & satisfying to be sought out by things like this after so much hard work! I feel very grateful for this opportunity (even if it is only for 3 minutes)!

So wish me luck!!

{Confession}

Okay, so I have to admit that I'm a total perfectionist. As a result of this self-defeating personality trait I gain another self-defeating personality trait of being a procrastinator. In other words...because I have to have things perfect, I don't do them 'til I can do them perfectly. (k, that short little paragraph has taken me years to learn about myself!)

Having said that - every now and again I try to improve myself by reflecting on what I can do better...or should I say worse at? I try to be less of a perfectionist. Basically, because I'm a perfectionist with things, I overwhelm myself in certian areas of my life. So I have to sit down & say to myself ...."what can you let slide for now Jamie?" so I can do enough to get SOMETHING done! (Now understand that by saying I'm a perfectionist does not by any means mean I am saying I'm perfect. Very big difference there.)

Anyway, I've been stuck in one of those overwhelming moments lately with my blog! As you can see I haven't done a post for ughm...22 days now. But I assure you I have been doing quite a bit of "blog-hopping" (which has helped me procrastinate blogging on my own - see how that works?) So much in fact I had to take 2 hours the other day to organize "my favorites". Ironically, I feel like my blog is crap, so I look at other peoples blogs wishing I could be as interesting or creative as they are, instead of improving my own (see how self-defeating my personality can be sometimes)!

K, so in all my procrastinating I have come across some interesting things about blogging I thought I would share. (Okay, really I just want to get them down somewhere, so I can refer to them again for when I'm feeling overwhelmed, so you all get to learn with me.)

My favorites were...

- Attempt to put limits on your time.

- Do not write for comments. Write for yourself.

- If you have the push to publish it fuels your creativity and inspires you to consider the merits of your actions and experiences each day. Your eyes are open, searching for lessons, beauty and inspiration to document and share.

- Write everyday! Make lists of things you love, things you're grateful for, things you wonder when you're stuck.

- Have blog topics/content be intentionally chosen, not just a hodge-podge or regurgitation of your life, including meals, family, work, vacations, reading lists, and on and on and on and on...

- Find new blogs that might be interesting by following the profiles of those who commentate on others -- but only do a few a day.

Welp, that's about it! Hopefully this will help my imperfections with perfectionsim!<

Lately I've been racking my little brain for online marketing ideas for my etsy shop.

So the other day I went to etsy's forum to find out what other etsy-ians do & I found a few ideas. One of which was a website called "Smidge" that is dedicated to "news, reviews & handmade community". So I emailed the girl about donating some of my product to a giveaway contest they have each month in exchange for a link to my shop on their page. And guess what!? She not only wanted me to participate in the giveaway, but she wanted to write a feature article about my shop on the front page of their site! WA-HOOO! {Is this all worth it?}

So it's 1:00 in the morning, kids & hubby are fast asleep, but I can't seem to catch a wink. I just participated in my 4th boutique yesterday & my mind is just racing with questions & solutions & "what if's" & hope & doubt. Basically, I'm just wondering to myself..."is this all worth it"? I mean, do I spend an entire week planning & shopping & designing & neglecting & working for a boutique that was - "uuh"? Maybe I have too high of expectations, but no...not really. It's not like I expect to totally sell out, but to make somewhat of a profit would be nice. To just break even doesn't really cut it. So again, is this all worth it, do I cut my losses now as far as boutiques are concerned & just stick with the online stuff? Or, do I try, try again? The latter has been my attitude thus far, but I just don't know anymore. Despite what this might sound like, I'm actually not THAT discouraged about the situation. This boutique was my 2nd personal best. I didn't come home crying from it, unlike some of the others. I think they're great fun! I love the buzz that goes on & meeting new people. I just don't find them being that rewarding. I'm simply just debating if it is something I should continue spending my time, energy & money on. What do you think?

{What a rush!}

So my labels were on Studio 5 today! And can I just tell you what a rush it is to see your your hard work displayed & talked about on TV? My heart is still pounding! There's so many emotions it seriously brought tears to my eyes. (I know, I'm a bit of a sap) And you know, there was one other thing that made it great. I use to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. And out of all the people to have on the segement before mine today, was Shelly Gardner, the CEO & founder of Stampin' Up! As many of you know I do NOT believe in coincidences! Her story is so inspiring & gives me such hope for the idea of the labels & who knows what else my little mind has in store! So what a treat today was! Thank you Kelly for taking the labels today & showing them off! It truely made my day, week & month!

How exciting is this! My dear friend Kelly Pratt is frequently on STUDIO 5, the 11:00am local talk show here in Utah (KSL, channel 5) doing organizing segments! They have asked her to bring the "latest & greatest" in organizing products. And she is so gracious to take my labels as one of her products!! WHOO HOOO! She will be presenting them THIS FRIDAY (tomorrow, February 22nd)!!! So tune in or set your DVR's! You don't want to miss the debut of my labels by Mrs. Kelly Pratt - who, I just have to say is sooo cute, happy, fun, energetic, & has the words for everything!
